US Route 35 Design-Build Project |
E.L Robinson Engineering Company has teamed with Kokosing Construction Company to become joint advocates for the first ever Design-Build Highway Project for the West Virginia Department of Transportation.
By saving the WVDOT over $30 million through their substantial reasoning and cost effective estimates, this $73.8 million contract with E.L. Robinson Engineering and Kokosing Construction Company will enhance traffic safety and open the new economic developments for the state and its people.
This project involved: 6.8 miles of pavement, two bridges, 28 culverts, 39 storm sewer runs, one interchange, six at-grade intersections, realign four local & one state route WV34, over 10,000,000 cy earthwork, 6 modified NPDES documents, two reviewing agencies (WVDOH, DEP), 21 day review times.
