Rockwood Avenue Forcemain Replacement |
The Union Rome Sewer District under the direction of the Lawrence County Board of Commissioners commissioned a project for the replacement of 1,600 feet of 12-inch Forcemain which had deteriorated due to high hydrogen sulfide interaction with the existing ductile iron pipe. This Forcemain was the primary sanitary sewer for 75% of the flow for the District.
The project was located on a heavily traveled roadway in Chesapeake, Ohio and traffic and flow was maintained during the entire project.
