The Sawmill Parkway Extension project involved the design of 5000’ of new four-lane divided highway in Delaware County. Highlights of the design included one mile of new pavement, curb and gutter, grass medians, a 14 x 6 ft Conspan culvert, storm sewers, over 6000 feet of new waterline, turn lanes and interconnected signals at three intersections, and a general right of way width of 150 feet. Other project tasks included proposal/bidding notes, a walk/bikeway design within the right of way, construction cost estimates, and a right of way plat dedication.
